In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

This is a private, independent, nonprofit endeavour. This blog was started in August 2008 by Cairowanderer who has been running it solo up to May 2011. Since then Cairene Beat contributes as well to the blog. Events beyond Cairo

Hello All! This is Cairenebeat. I'm off on a little bit of travel and back on the 20th but unfortunately will not be able to update much. In the spirit of travel, I leave you with two events that will take place in the near future in places outside of Cairo, but very much within Egypt. Wish you safe elections in the coming days!

Thursday Jun 14 & Friday June 15, 2012
Dina Wedidi and Massar Egbari and others at Teatro Opening in Alexandria.

Saturday Jun 23 to Thursday June 28, 2012
Ismailia International Film Festival in Ismailia.
