In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

El-Sawi Culture Wheel

El-Sawi cultural centre in Zamalek is one of the most interesting venues in Cairo. In their two halls, the River Hall and the Wisdom Hall they offer Concerts, Movie Screenings, Performing Arts, Conferences, Poetry Readings, Seminars, Exhibitions, you name it. Every evening something is going on. Local famous bands like Eftekasat and Wust El Balad regularly perform there. The entrance is under the 15th of May bridge, on the left side direction Giza, just on the river bank. Parking can be a real hassle so, if you are not blessed with a driver, go early or … go by taxi.
Address: End of 26th of July St. underneath the 15th of May Bridge, Zamalek Tel. 27368881
