THE BOILING SEA - Documentary & Discussion with the Director at the Italian Cultural Institute

The Italian Cultural Institute in Zamalek, in collaboration with the Scientific Office of the Italian Embassy in Cairo presents THE BOILING SEA (Italian with Arabic subtitles) by Eugenio Manghi on Monday April 15, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Theatre of the Italian Cultural Institute. The documentary will be presented by the director, Eugenio Manghi.

The Boiling Sea is a 74-minute documentary about the changes that are occurring in the Mediterranean, and about the implications on the fish life and on human activities, but also on the changes that these activities of man are producing in the sea. The film speaks about the 624 new species populating the Mediterranean that have come from other seas and other climates but that have adapted to the Mediterranean because of the changes taking place, like the rise in temperature. The images in the documentary go from the Middle East, to Italy, and with spectacular, highly technical shots, they show both the good and the bad of the Mediterranean.
