Exactly one year ago I opened this blog with the intention of providing few friends with information about cultural events in Cairo. Since then, this site has recorded exactly 22,316 hits.
I had a lot of fun, increased enormously my knowledge of the local scene and received many mails of support and practical help. It gives me satisfaction to read that people have gone out in the evening, had fun, discovered new venues, enjoyed a movie, new bands and new music thanks to this blog. That's what it's all about after all.
Many thanks to all of you and all the artists and organizers of events in Cairo.
