In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

TANZTHEATER WUPPERTAL PINA BAUSCH at the Cairo Opera House

On Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 8:00 PM the internationally acclaimed Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch will perform at the Cairo Opera House. They will present two shows: "Bamboo Blues" and "Sacre du Printemps", two of the most renowned production of the recently passed away choreographer Pina Bausch.

This is the first time the Ensemble performs in the African continent and the Arab world and is an opportunity not to be missed. The event is brought to us by the Goethe Institute in Egypt in cooperation with the Cairo Opera House. You will find more information in this dedicated page of the Goethe Institute (German only).
