Music, Freedom and Social Justice - El Geneina opening


Al Mawred Culture Resource have announced the much-awaited opening of the 2011 season at Al Genaina Theater in Al Azhar Park. The program of the first performances is as follows:

Friday April 22, 2011 (free admission):
Starting from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM an open day featuring many Egyptian artists from different fields (theater - Poetry – Grafitti – visual art . Music program begins at 7:00 PM and features Ramy Essam, Mariam Ali, Taxi Band and Eskenderella Band 
Saturday April 23, 2011: Hamid Kasri and Karim Ziad Morocco – Algeria 
Friday April 29, 2011: Abir Nasraoui– Tunisia 
Saturday May 7, 2011: Mashrou3 Leila – Lebanon 
Sunday May 8, 2011: Wust El Balad - Egypt 
Monday May 9, 2011: Dhafer Youssef – Tunisia

All concerts start at 8.00 PM
Al Azhar Park - Salah Salem Rd. – Darassa
Tickets: 10 EGP (Excluding Park Admission) except Mashrou3 Leila and Dhafer Youssef tickets 20 EGP.
