Week of the Spanish and Iberoamerican Classical Guitar


Cairo's Classical Guitar lovers will have a week of delight with some of the best players of the instrument coming to the Cairo Opera House. The festival will start on Sunday June 24 and will end (as far as Cairo is concerned) on Wednesday June 27, 2012.
The program is as follows:

Sunday June 24: ELIANA MATOS (Cuba)
Monday June 25: MAURICIO DÍAZ (Mexico)
Tuesday June 26: ALIÉKSEY VIANNA (Brasil) GABRIEL GUILLÉN (Venezuela)
Wednesday June 27: FERNANDO ESPÍ (Spain)

All concerts will start at 8:00 PM and will take place in the Small Hall.
The event is organized by the Instituto Cervantes in cooperation with the Embassy of Spain and the Cairo Opera House.
