Spiritual Music Concert at the Cairo Opera House

Tomorrow, Tuesday December 1, 2009 the Egyptian composer Basem Darwish and the German pianist Matthias Frey will perform in a spiritual music evening in the Main Hall of the Cairo Opera House at 8:00 PM.
The concert will feature Egyptian singers Sheikh and Ali El-Helbawi and Maher Fayez's group
"El Karouz".

    Quite an interesting lineup of musicians. And exploring the roots of both the Copic and Sufi spiritual musical traditions should be fascinating.
