YASSER GHONEIM
Considered one of the young stars of Egyptian classical music, the violinist Yasser Ghoneim joined the Cairo Conservatoire at the age of seven and studied with several professors, amongst which the late secretary general of the Tchaikovsky Competition, Irakly Bridzy. He is currently studying with Marlis Yones-Khan.
He made several tours with the Conservatoire Orchestra, including one to Germany in 1998, and played with the Mediterranean Sea Orchestra. He also gave concerts as soloist with the Akhenaton Chamber Music Orchestra at the Sayed Darwish Theatre in Alexandria and at the Cairo Opera House.
