In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

This is a private, independent, nonprofit endeavour. This blog was started in August 2008 by Cairowanderer who has been running it solo up to May 2011. Since then Cairene Beat contributes as well to the blog. If you have any comment, tip, or information you think might be relevant for the blog, please write to cairowanderer@gmail.com or cairenebeat@gmail.com.

"Hit and Run" Theatre Performance

On Saturday, January 14 2012 at 5:00 PM Darb 1718 and Masra7 Masha3 are presenting a performance that is the result of a two-day workshop, "Hit and Run", based in personal story and improvisations.

This performance is based on real stories of the performers who will share them hoping to find a community in the audience. They are hoping that this community might, through interventions, be able to start a theatrical dialogue about the incidents that find us every day as cairenes, and more importantly, human beings. You will be invited to watch, and participate if you’d like, in the action taking place on stage.
