Jenin Camp Youth Orchestra performs in Israel
This is a slight departure from the main topic of this blog because I am not going to "advertise" a live event that will take place in Cairo. In fact it is not even a forthcoming event but one that took place already.
These two articles stroke a chord in me and I like to share them -without comments- with you, as I believe you are interested both in art and the Middle East (otherwise why should you read this blog?). They are both from the IHT and are just three days apart one from the other.

and then http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/30/world/middleeast/30mideast.html?scp=2&sq=jenin%20youth%20orchestra&st=cse
