In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

  1. I called the AUC campus to ask about the Stiglitz lecture tomorrow - if there are tickets, if its open to the public, etc - and I was told that even an official time for the lecture has not yet been decided! any idea where I can find a reliable source of info about tomorrow?

  2. The lecture is advertised on the AUC website (click link in post) and is also listed in their event calendar as a public event. I attended several lectures in the past and the only thing I was asked for is to show a valid identity document at the entrance of the campus. I am planning to attend myself and will try to get more information. If I come to know about any change I will post it.

  3. I'll be there early today and will also post if there are any changes. Thank you for posting about the lecture in the first place, I would have never known otherwise.
