"El Fann Midan" Cultural Festival

The Independent Culture Coalition invites families and young people to "El Fann Midan", a cultural celebration in the squares and streets of Egypt taking place on Saturday April 2, 2011 from noon to 7:00 PM simoultaneously in Cairo, Alexandria, Assiut, Suez, Minia, and Port Said.

"El Fann Midan" is meant to celebrate the Revolution of the Egyptian People, to emphasize its demands, and to enjoy music, poetry, theatre and visual arts. In Cairo it will take place in Abdeen Square. Some of the artists participating in the event are: Ali El Haggar, Fathy Salama, Rami Issam, Zein El Abdeen Fouad, Amin Haddad and Khaled Saleh.
