The Tahrir Book Fair

Following the sudden cancellation of the Cairo International Book Fair, the American University in Cairo Press has decided to host a Book Fair at the AUC Campus in Tahrir Square. The event will feature thousand of titles from Egypt and abroad, many of which at discounted price, author signings, panel seminars, forums, special receptions, and entertainment. It is significant that the event will be inaugurated by the new Minister of Culture Dr. Emad Abou Ghazi.

The Tahrir Book Fair will take place from Thursday March 31 to Sunday April 3, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission Free.
