ROCCO E I SUOI FRATELLI at the Italian Cultural Centre

Sorry for posting a bit ate about this, but I thought some can still catch the opportunity to see one of Italian cinema's most famous movies, tonight Monday, May 4 at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the theatre of the Italian Cultural Centre in Zamalek.

ROCCO E I SUOI FRATELLI, directed by Luchino Visconti, starring Alain Delon, Renato Salvatori, Annie Girardot, Katina Paxinou, Alessandra Panaro, Spiros Focás, Max Cartier. Drama, running time 175 min. – Italy, 1960
The widow Rosaria moves to Milano from Lucania with her sons, one of whom is Rocco. In the beginning, the family has a lot of problems, but everyone manages to find something to do. Simone is boxing, Rocco works in a dry cleaners. Simone meets Nadia, a prostitute, and they have a stormy affair. Then Rocco, after finishing his military service, begins a relationship with her. A bitter feud ensues between the two brothers, which will lead as far as murder. Italian with English subtitles.
