Local Crafts Festival Thursday June 30 - Sunday July 3, 2011



The four-day Local Crafts Festival will celebrate the heritage and tradition of Egypt, presenting its various forms from Thursday June 30 - Sunday July 3, 2011. The event opens at 5PM on Thursday June 30.

Events include:
- A Crafts EXHIBITION
- A CULTURAL TENT with daily interactive workshops
- LIVE MUSIC and a PUPPET THEATER (with Al Sawy Cultural Wheel)
- A CRAFTS TENT FOR CHILDREN (with AFCA Founation for Arts and Crafts)
- Creative Performances (with Egyptian Artisans)
- DAILY ORGANIZED TOURS to discover Al-Darb Al-Ahmar historical area full of amazing places (from the Ayyubid Wall till Bab Zuweila) including ART INSTALLATIONS with special light effects (with Darb1718).
