In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

NIMA SARKECHIK at the Manasterly Palace

The young French-Iranian pianist NIMA SARKECHIK (for a biography of the performer and the complete programme of the evening click here) will be opening the new season of the International Music Center concerts on Sunday October 14, 2012 at 8:00 PM. On the programme music from Debussy, Liszt, and Schubert.

This opening concert marks also the return of the IMC concerts to their original venue, the Manasterly Palace in Manial, after 2 years of renovation works.

Do not miss the opportunity to listen to wonderful music in a charming setting and welcome the 2012-2013 season of the International Music Center, an institution that has done (and hopefully will continue to do) a lot for Cairo's Classical music lovers.
