"DANTE READS DANTE" and "I HAD A DREAM ABOUT YOU" at the Italian Cultural Institute

The Italian Cultural Institute presents "DANTE READS DANTE", a lecture in Italian and Arabic language reflecting on the presence of Dante in the poetry of the 20th Century. The event will feature a conversation on The Divine Comedy led by Dante Marianacci and readings of the first canto of Inferno, and will be followed by "I HAD A DREAM ABOUT YOU", an Italian-Egyptian event between poetry and music directed by Abdalla Saad with the participation of the Italian-Argentian poet Maria Luisa Melo and the Egyptian poet Montassar Hegazy. A selection of orchestral pieces will accompany the poets’ performance.

The event will take place on Wednesday April 18 2012 at 6.00 PM in the Theatre of the Italian Cultural Institute in Zamalek.
