In these pages you will hopefully find interesting tips on how to take advantage of Cairo's many cultural opportunities, with particular attention to live events. Cairo Live Events Guide does not pretend to be exhaustive but will try to cover main events open to the public.

The "EGYPTIAN PROJECT" live in Cairo

The collaborative French/Egyptian music outfit ‘EGYPTIAN PROJECT’ will be on stage at the French Institute in Mounira on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 7:30 PM and at the Cairo Jazz Club on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 9:00 PM. With varied aesthetics, this musical combination of two completely contrasting cultures produced a unique sound combining Egyptian folklore derived from the deepest roots of rural Egypt, with psychedelic trip hop beats by visionary electronic French maestro, Jérôme.

‘EGYPTIAN PROJECT’ are touring their latest album ‘Ya Amar’ around Egypt and theirs is an act not to miss.

In times of bleak oppression, finding profound art and expression presents a beacon of hope for a brighter future beaming with tolerance, mutual respect and appreciation of all cultures.
